Join CTS Head Coach Chris Carmichael for a spectacular 3 days of riding around Colorado Springs, CO. This camp focuses on endurance riding, coach-based training rides, and riding with power. We will ride through the scenic mountains surrounding Colorado Springs and tackle Pikes Peak.

At CTS, our athletes are family. The CTS Athlete House is an extension of that sentiment, located in the same building as our Colorado Springs office.
The Athlete House serves as a basecamp for endurance athletes of all types visiting from all over the world, and offers athletes the opportunity to build an entirely custom camp experience.
Meals/Food
The Athlete House (AH) will be stocked food and pre-made meals throughout the entire camp. There will be plenty of fresh veggies, fruit, bread, pasta, rice, prepared meals all fresh. So you can easily eat whenever you like as the AH has a full kitchen that is ready to go. If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance or if you have any special requests please let us know.

DAY 0
July 19, 2022: CHECK-IN DAY
Where: Athlete House, 1317 West Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80904
Check in: 3pm the Athlete House will be available to check in
Meeting: 5-5:30pm meeting at CTS on camp details
Dinner: 6pm at the Athlete House
DAY 1
July 20, 2022: HANOVER LOOP

Ride Time: 5 Hours
Description: 8:30 am depart for the Hanover Loop with coaches/athletes and finish with the climb up Cheyenne Canon.
Massages: 3:30pm begin massages at CTS

DAY 2
July 21, 2022: Pikes Peak
Mileage: 40
Elevation Gain: 8500 FT
Ride Time: 4 – 7 Hours
Description: 6:30 am depart via CTS truck and one other vehicle to Pikes Peak and start at the toll booth. Pikes Peak, America’s Mountain, inspired the lyrics to America the Beautiful. Today you’ll ride through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world as you wind your way up to the summit at 14,115 feet.

DAY 3
July 22, 2022 Colorado Springs Canyon’s Ride

Elevation Gain: 7000 FT
Ride Time: 4-5 Hours
Description: 8:30am depart CTS heading toward the climbs of Garden of the Gods then various climbs up the Canyons of Colorado Springs. This ride can be reduced if required for some athletes may be fatigued from climbing Pikes Peak the day before. This ride is hilly but no long climbs and we will experience many of the beautiful canyons around Colorado Springs but we will plan to keep the pace moderate on the climbs in order to finish the entire ride.

Dinner: Athlete House and wrap up discussion

July 23, 2022 DEPART/CHECKOUT
Camp Conclusion: Check out from the CTS Athlete House by 10:00 am.
