It's hard to beat the Santa Ynez Valley's challenging roads and warm spring weather for early-season miles. CTS has been holding Spring Training Camps in this popular cycling destination for over 15 years, and many top pros continue to train on the same roads.
At our Spring Training Camp, you will be treated like a professional cyclist in every way: from professional mechanical support to individual power file analysis with our coaches. At this camp, we will focus on early-season endurance miles that will prepare you for the season ahead, and you'll get the opportunity to ride the popular Solvang Century.

DAY 1
CHECK-IN DAY - February 27, 2023
Check-In Time: 3:00-5:00pm
Where: Hotel Vinland Hotel and Lounge
1455 Mission Dr, Solvang, CA 93463
Arrival Description: Check-in day! We’ll build bikes, you can meet the staff and other athletes and join us for an interactive team dinner.
Dinner: 6:30 PM at Redbarn in Santa Ynez
DAY 2
THE CANYONS
Mileage: 53 mi
Elevation Gain: 3,300 ft
Time Range: 3-5 hrs
Brief Ride Description: The Canyons! Ride all the most legendary roads in the Valley tied into one! We’ll explore Foxen Canyon, Drum Canyon, and the quaint towns of Los Alamos and Los Olivos today.
Lunch: Post-ride

DAY 3
MANNY'S RIDE
Brief Ride Description: Manny’s Ride - To the historic Jalama Beach! We’ll ride the bucolic farming Santa Rosa road and then Jalama Beach Highway as we wind towards epic ocean views.

DAY 4
FIGUEROA MOUNTAIN
Mileage: 43 mi
Elevation Gain: 5,000 ft
Time Range: 3-4 hrs
Brief Ride Description: Figueroa Mountain - A trophy on any cyclists’ list! 9 miles and 7% make this climb one of the best and hardest in the country.
Lunch: Post-ride
Dinner: On your own
DAY 5
EASY ENDURANCE MILES
Mileage: 17 mi
Elevation Gain: 1000 ft
Time Range: 1-1.5 hrs
Brief Ride Description: A rolling, easier-paced ride as we prep the legs for the big day tomorrow.
