Riding around Colorado Springs is spectacular. In one direction you have beautiful plains and in the other, 14,000ft tall mountains. At the Athlete House Camp (feat. Pikes Peak) you will have accommodations right next door to our coaches in Colorado Springs and get to talk to them firsthand, before, during, and after rides. This camp only consists of 3 athletes which also allows for a personalized experience that will fit your needs. We are looking forward to seeing you, talking with you, and most importantly, riding with you!

At CTS, our athletes are family. The CTS Athlete House is an extension of that sentiment, located in the same building as our Colorado Springs office.

The Athlete House serves as a basecamp for endurance athletes of all types visiting from all over the world, and offers athletes the opportunity to build an entirely custom camp experience.

Meals/Food

The Athlete House will be stocked with food and pre-made meals throughout the entire camp. There will be plenty of fresh veggies, fruit, bread, pasta, rice, and prepared meals all fresh.  So you can easily eat whenever you like as the AH has a full kitchen that is ready to go.  If you have special dietary requirements please let us know in advance or if you have any special requests please let us know.

Camp Itinerary

DAY 1

CHECK-IN DAY - 6/26/2024

Check-In Time: 3 pm

Where: Athlete House, 1317 West Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80904

Arrival Description: Today we will get you moved in, get your bikes built, and get the athlete house stocked with the food you choose from Whole Foods. 

Meeting: 5 pm meeting at CTS on camp details

Dinner: 6 pm at the Athlete House

DAY 2

DECKER'S LOOP

Mileage: 85mi

Elevation Gain: 3800ft

Time Range: 5hrs

Brief Ride Description:  8:30 am depart for the Decker’s ride with coaches/athletes and and enjoy steady climbs with some amazing views.

Massage: 4 pm begin massages at CTS 

Breakfast at: Athlete House

Lunch: post-ride at Athlete House

Dinner at: Athlete House


DAY 3


PIKES PEAK

Mileage: 40mi

Elevation Gain: 8500ft

Time Range: 4-7hrs

Brief Ride Description:  6:30 am depart via CTS truck and one other vehicle to Pikes Peak and start at the toll booth. Pikes Peak, America’s Mountain, inspired the lyrics to America the Beautiful. Today you’ll ride through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world as you wind your way up to the summit at 14,115 feet. 

Massage: 4 pm begin massages at CTS 

Breakfast at: Athlete House

Lunch at: post-ride at Athlete House

Dinner at: Athlete House

DAY 4

CANYONS RIDE

Mileage: 65mi

Elevation Gain: 7000ft

Time Range: 4-5hrs

Brief Ride Description: 8:30 am depart CTS heading toward the climbs of Garden of the Gods then various climbs up the Canyons of Colorado Springs.   This ride can be reduced if required for some athletes may be fatigued from climbing Pikes Peak the day before. This ride is hilly but has no long climbs and we will experience many of the beautiful canyons around Colorado Springs but we will plan to keep the pace moderate on the climbs in order to finish the entire ride. 

Massage: 4 pm begin massages at CTS 

Breakfast: Athlete House

Lunch: post-ride at Athlete House

Dinner: Athlete House


DAY 5

DEPART/CHECKOUT - 6/30/2024

Camp Conclusion: Check out from the CTS Athlete House by 10:00 am.
