CTS Athlete Alison Jackson Named To 2024 Canadian Olympic Cycling Team

Paris-Roubaix winner has been working with CTS Coach Adam Pulford since late 2020.

(Colorado Springs, CO)  – CTS, the worldwide leader in endurance coaching, is proud to support Canadian cycling champion Alison Jackson, who was named to the 2024 Canadian Olympic Cycling Team for the Road Race and Time Trial. The winner of the 2023 Paris-Roubaix Femmes and 4-time Canadian National Champion, Jackson is now a 2-time Olympian following her participation in the 2020 Tokyo Games. CTS Coach Adam Pulford met Alison while working for Twenty16 Pro Cycling in 2015 and they began working together in late 2020 to prepare for the Tokyo Olympics.

“Every time Alison calls, I get excited to talk because the conversations are a mix of high performance, extreme desire to be the best, and her latest TikTok project,” said Pulford. “People see her fun side, but she knows what it takes to win, can captain a team, and is always up to punch through hard training when necessary. Being selected to represent her country in the Olympic Games is one of the highest honors an athlete can receive. I’m exceedingly proud of her and can’t wait to watch her race in Paris.”

Alison Jackson hails from Vermillion, Alberta and races professionally for EF Education–Cannondale. A strong all-around rider with a powerful sprint, she won both the 2023 Paris-Roubaix Femmes and Stage 2 of the 2024 La Vuelta Feminina in sprint finishes. Along with her incredible athletic ability, Alison has also massively expanded her fan base with creative and entertaining social media dance videos (@aliactionjackson).

“This selection is a great honor for Alison. Olympic Team selections are the toughest to achieve as they happen only once every 4 years, the number of quota positions are limited and everyone is going for them. An athlete has to perform consistently at the highest levels of International racing over a significant time period just to be considered,” said CTS CEO Jeff Pierce, previously the High Performance Director in charge of Selection at USA Cycling. “Alison is an incredible athlete and her selection to Team Canada for the 2024 Olympics is a great honor for Adam Pulford as well. Behind every great athlete there is a great coach who has also put in countless hours in support. Adam has confirmed once again that he is one of the top cycling coaches in the world.”

Adam Pulford is a CTS Premier Coach, meaning he is one of the company’s most experienced and accomplished coaches. He is the host of “The Time-Crunched Cyclist Podcast”, is active in the development of TrainingPeaks WKO5 training analysis software, and has extensive team director/manager experience from working with TeamShoAir UCI Professional Factory MTB Team, Twenty16/Twenty20 UCI Professional Women’s Race Team, and the Orangeseal Off-Road Team.
