Arrival Description: Kick off the 25th Anniversary of the Santa Ynez Spring Training Camp with a warm and festive welcome dinner. As you arrive, you'll have the opportunity to drop off your bike with our expert mechanics, ensuring it's perfectly tuned for the exciting rides ahead. The evening will be filled with introductions, as campers, special guests, and staff come together to share their passion for cycling. Over a delicious meal, we'll go over the routes, schedule, and itinerary for the week, providing you with all the information you need to make the most of your camp experience. This is the perfect chance to meet new friends, reconnect with familiar faces, and start the week on a high note, surrounded by the vibrant cycling community.
DAY 2
CTS FIELD TEST - 3/11/2025
Mileage: 25-60
Elevation Gain: 2000-3500 FT
Time Range: 3 - 3.5 Hours
Brief Ride Description:
The first ride day of the Santa Ynez Spring Training Camp is nothing short of legendary, featuring "The Canyons!" This epic ride ties together the most iconic roads in the Valley, promising an unforgettable adventure. We'll embark on a journey through the stunning Foxen Canyon, where rolling vineyards and scenic vistas set the tone for an exhilarating ride. Next, we'll tackle the challenging terrain of Drum Canyon, known for its thrilling climbs and rewarding descents. Along the way, we'll pass through the charming towns of Los Alamos and Los Olivos, where the quaint streets and local charm offer the perfect respite. This ride is designed to showcase the very best of Santa Ynez, combining breathtaking scenery with the thrill of conquering renowned routes.

DAY 3
MANNY’S RIDE (JALAMA BEACH) - 3/12/2025

Elevation Gain: 3000-6000 FT
Time Range: 3.5-5.5 Hours
Brief Ride Description:
On the second day of camp, get ready for Manny's Ride, a long endurance-paced journey that takes us to the breathtaking Jalama Beach. This ride promises a scenic adventure, guiding us along quiet country roads that highlight the serene beauty of the area. Don't be fooled by the tranquil surroundings, as the route includes a surprising amount of climbing, testing your endurance and strength. The challenge is complemented by technical descents, offering thrilling moments and opportunities to hone your descending skills. As we reach Jalama Beach, the stunning coastal views will make every pedal stroke worthwhile. Manny's Ride is the perfect blend of endurance, challenge, and natural beauty, making for an unforgettable second day at camp.

DAY 4
FIGUEROA MOUNTAIN - 3/13/2025

Time Range: 4-5 Hours
Brief Ride Description:
The third ride day brings us to The Fig Loop, a route renowned for its formidable challenge and breathtaking beauty. This iconic ride features a relentless mountain ascent that stretches nearly 10 miles, climbing an impressive 3,500 feet. The journey up is demanding, testing your endurance and determination, but the spectacular scenery along the way makes every effort worthwhile. As you ascend, you'll be rewarded with stunning vistas that capture the essence of the region's natural splendor. The descent that follows is equally captivating, offering a mix of beautiful views and technical challenges that keep you engaged and exhilarated. The Fig Loop is never easy, but it's a ride that embodies the spirit of adventure and accomplishment, making it a highlight of the camp.

DAY 5
SANTA YNEZ VALLEY ENDURANCE MILES - 3/14/2025
Mileage: 15-35
Elevation Gain: 750-2000 FT
Time Range: 2 Hours
Brief Ride Description:
The fourth ride day features the SYZ Valley Endurance Ride, designed to balance preparation and recovery as we gear up for tomorrow's final big mileage day. This ride is set at a comfortable pace, allowing you to enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley while giving your legs a chance to rest and recover. It's an excellent opportunity to conserve energy and focus on smooth, steady riding. The SYZ Valley Endurance Ride offers a perfect blend of relaxation and endurance, setting you up for success as you head into the camp's challenging conclusion.

DAY 6
SOLVANG SUPER RIDE - 3/15/2025
Mileage: 100
Elevation Gain: 4500 FT
Time Range: 4.5-7 Hours
Brief Ride Description:
The camp culminates with the Solvang Super Ride, one of California's oldest and most celebrated rides. This beautiful tour takes you through the stunning Santa Ynez valley, showcasing the area's rich landscapes and charming locales. The route is plenty challenging, offering a mix of fast segments and demanding sections that test your skills and endurance. Throughout the ride, you'll benefit from excellent CTS support, ensuring you're well taken care of from start to finish. The Solvang Super Ride is the perfect grand finale, combining history, beauty, and challenge for an unforgettable conclusion to the camp.

Camp Conclusion Description: Our camp concludes with a final group dinner. Lodging is covered through Saturday night at the Hotel Corque.
