Camp Itinerary

DAY 1

CHECK-IN DAY – 4/22/2026

Check-In Time: 5:00 PM

Where: Brevard Hampton Inn 275 Forest Gate Dr Pisgah Forest NC 28768

Arrival Description:

 Arrive at the hotel, get checked in with our coaching staff and mechanics. Upon arrival at our host hotel nestled amidst the mountains, you'll be greeted by our friendly staff who assist with check-in and provide you with your personalized itinerary and camp details. Gather in our dining area where coaches and mechanics introduce themselves and outline the exciting adventures planned for the week. Learn about safety protocols, ride logistics, and what to expect on the upcoming rides. Our skilled team performs a thorough check, ensuring each bike is in prime condition for the challenges ahead. Feel reassured knowing your bike will be well-cared for throughout the camp.

DAY 2


CTS FIELD TEST - 4/23/2026

Mileage: 40-50

Elevation Gain: 2000-3500 FT

Time Range: 4 - 4.5 Hours

Brief Ride Description:

Before mounting your bikes, our experienced coaches provide a detailed briefing on the day’s route. Review the plan for the day, including the ascent of the Blue Ridge Parkway along with the CTS Field Test—a chance to gauge your fitness and set the tone for the week ahead. This structured assessment, designed by CTS, allows you to measure your current fitness level and establish personalized training zones. Feel empowered as you push your limits and gain valuable insights under the guidance of our coaching team. With each turn of the pedals, ascend towards the majestic Blue Ridge Parkway. Marvel at the ever-changing scenery—from lush forests and cascading waterfalls to expansive mountain vistas stretching as far as the eye can see. Our carefully planned route ensures a gradual climb, allowing you to savor the journey and acclimate to the elevation gain.

DAY 3

PARKWAY RIDE - 4/24/2026

Mileage: 40-50 Miles

Elevation Gain: 5000-6500 FT

Time Range: 4 - 4.5 Hours

Brief Ride Description:  

 Gather with your fellow cyclists for a session dedicated to power profiling testing. Guided by our expert coaches, this assessment provides valuable insights into your cycling performance metrics, helping you understand your strengths and areas for improvement. Embrace the opportunity to refine your training strategies and optimize your riding experience throughout the camp and the rest of your season. Venture towards Hendersonville, a charming town nestled amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. Ascend to the breathtaking Jump Off Rock, where panoramic views stretch across the Pisgah National Forest and beyond. Pause to capture stunning photographs and reflect on the boundless beauty that surrounds you—a testament to the allure of cycling in western North Carolina.

DAY 4

CAROLINA CRUSHER - 4/25/2026

Mileage: 40-80 Miles

Elevation Gain: 3500-7600 FT

Time Range: 4 – 6+ Hours

Brief Ride Description:  

 On the final day of camp, the highly anticipated Carolina Crusher promises an exhilarating mix of challenges and rewards. This ultimate ride is renowned for its demanding climbs that test the endurance and strength of every participant. Cyclists will tackle steep ascents, pushing their limits and conquering the hills with determination and grit.

But the Carolina Crusher isn't just about the climb; it also features some of the best road riding the region has to offer. Riders will be treated to scenic routes with smooth, winding roads that provide a perfect balance to the strenuous uphill battles. The beautiful Carolina landscapes serve as a stunning backdrop, making every mile of this journey an unforgettable experience.

Whether you're powering up a steep incline or cruising along picturesque roadways, the Carolina Crusher delivers a thrilling and satisfying conclusion to camp. Get ready to push your boundaries, enjoy the ride, and celebrate your achievements with fellow campers on this epic final day!
