Halo Neuroscience Partners With Carmichael Training Systems To Help Athletes Improve Performance

(December 11, 2017) // Halo Neuroscience (Halo) and Carmichael Training Systems (CTS) have announced a partnership that will allow CTS coaches, athletes, and camp participants to accelerate training improvements by Neuropriming with Halo Sport—the first headset designed to induce hyperplasticity in the brain’s motor cortex with neurostimulation.

CTS, which provides professional coaching to working professionals and world-class athletes alike, will immediately begin integrating Halo Sport headsets into training programs to improve the efficiency of their training and performance.
“We are proud to be a partner of CTS,” said Dr. Daniel Chao, CEO and co-founder of Halo Neuroscience. “CTS is the premier company that endurance athletes choose for coaching and training camps, and we are excited to integrate Halo Sport into their training routines.”

In only a year since launch, Halo Sport has defined a new and essential tool for endurance athletes at the highest level. Now that the headsets are being deployed to CTS’ large athlete base and numerous training camps, even more athletes will be able to use the technology to deliver better results from their workouts. Endurance athletes must find ways to increase biomechanical efficiency and eliminate extraneous movements—they can do this by building the right neural pathways in the brain. By pairing CTS’ proven training methods with neurostimulation, athletes will be able to reinforce the neural connections that translate to the most optimized movements.

“Halo Sport is an exciting new product with a lot of potential to help accelerate an athlete’s improvement when paired with proper training,” said CTS Founder and CEO Chris Carmichael. “We are excited to support innovation and get this new emerging technology to our athletes. The results from years of research and studies support the efficacy of Halo Neuroscience, and we are honored to help Halo Neuroscience reach more endurance athletes and promote broader use of Halo Sport.”
