Katie Schide
Katie Schide is one of the world’s top ultrarunners, with victories and podium finishes at the most competitive trail and mountain races on the planet. In 2024, she made history by winning both the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) and Western States Endurance Run—the two most prestigious ultras in the sport. At UTMB, she shattered the women’s course record, finishing in 22 hours, 9 minutes, and 31 seconds, surpassing the previous record by 21 minutes.
Recognized as the 2024 UltraRunner of the Year, Schide continues to set the standard for elite ultrarunning. She is coached by CTS Head Ultrarunning Coach Jason Koop and is a member of the CTS High-Performance Coaching Program. Living in France, she trains and competes on the world’s toughest trails, pushing the limits of endurance and inspiring the next generation of ultrarunners.
