I have enjoyed being lucky enough to coach endurance athletes for the past 3 and a half years. I was first exposed to endurance coaching through my Kinesiology internship with CTS. I admired the coaches at CTS and decided to become one myself. My first dip into endurance sports was in college where I ran cross country and track and field for the University I attended. The stars aligned and I began cross training for my running on a bike, the rest was history. I love coaching cycling, whether MTB, epic bucket list events, road racing or riding goals in general. I am at my happiest when I am with family. I am blessed to be able to enjoy the outdoors whether on a bike, on cross country skis or in running shoes.
I focus my attention to helping athletes achieve what is most important to them. Often times, part of achieving what is most important to the athlete is finding out why it is important to them. Whether an athlete wants a Strava segment, a belt buckle, an age group win, or negative splits doesn’t really matter. What matters is the process and journey in accomplishing their goal as a human. I like to provide the science and training protocol while staying true to motivating and understanding my athletes’ unique needs and obstacles. Endurance sports are filled with struggle as well as reward, I admire each of my athletes for signing up for that and as coach do my best to help where help is needed. I love one on one rides with athletes, through camps or private camps is one of my favorite aspects of coaching.
As an expert level coach, I work with athletes such as; mountain bikers, road racers, triathletes, endurance cyclists and runners. My day includes activities from coaching group camps, private camps, creating nutrition plans, giving LT tests in our labs, creating race day pace plans, doing course recon to talking through tactics. I very much enjoy coaching women cyclists and helping them navigate the racing world.« Back to all coaches
