Athletics and movement has always been a pivotal aspect of life for me, it is the basis for my profession as a coach. I grew up near Grand Teton National park so I gained a healthy respect and appreciation for the outdoors and combined it with sports. In college I instructed snowboard and ski lessons and began racing bikes.Shortly thereafter I joined Carmichael Training Systems (2003) and I’ve remained with the best coaching program in the industry ever since. I strive to create the same exceptional feats and balance for those I coach that I set for myself in athletics. My free time involves doing nearly anything and everything outdoors.
Each athlete that I coach is an individual, and I treat them as such. They are sacrificing significantly for their sport of choice and I make every attempt to assure those sacrifices will go directly toward improvements. I have lead snow and motor sports racers, including a seven-time X-Games snocross racer, Ironman and triathletes, runners and cyclists of all disciplines to repeated successes. Coaching CTS camps and private camps, refined data analysis capabilities, nutritional counseling and sport-specific strength training regiments round out my contributions as a professional. Ultimately my athletes and I combine attention to detail, consistency, frequent communication and life balance to create the most positive outcomes perceivable.
My keen attention to detail creates positive performance outcomes for nearly every athlete I work with. In addition to my physiological and tactical understanding, I thrive on developing individual psychological strategies to optimize an individual’s prowess. As such, the majority of athletes I now coach have been referred by other athletes that I initially worked with. My coaching expertise is reflected in the hundreds of success stories from the athletes I’ve teamed with.« Back to all coaches
