What an incredible week.
Coming out of the High Country to ride the final two stages in Boulder and Denver was an awesome way to round out an already phenomenal week.
The Golden to Boulder stage was tough, with lots of climbing. Especially that late in the week.
But the cheers from the crowd seem to help you find that extra gear.
The last day of the trip we had a special treat too.
With a closed course, in downtown Denver, all of the CTS rider got to ride the time trial course in front of the crowds.
Definitely a "top 10" type moment on the bike for our riders.
In fact, they are already talking about what the next trip is going to be for them.
If you want to be on one of these trips, we want to help your make that happen.
Don’t let yourself be intimidated by the challenge.
Stand up to it and give yourself permission to go big.
Writing epic chapters in your life is not something you do by staying comfortable.
It happens by squaring up to the things that scare you to death and doing them anyway.
I would love to ride with you on one of these trips.
We are filling the slots on our upcoming trips with athletes who are "Bucket List Qualified." And that doesn’t cost anything.
Once you are in you can decide on the right trip as it comes up.
Get qualified early and make sure your name come up on the top of the list.

I hope to ride with you soon

I’d thought I wanted to do one of these but one thing stopped me, now two. The first was that it was way too expensive, the wife wouldn’t even negoiate. And now two, after watching that last video I’d feel like an outsider. Everyone was talking about how much they like doing this with the people they’ve done it with before. Another thing, quite a ways back I filled out the application just to see if you thought I’d be capable of this sort of thing (I strongly suspected the wife would never go for it, I just wanted to see if I had the right stuff) and never heard back. thanks dennis
I believe your answer lies in the writing. They don’t want those that say do not, only those that do. You can’t let life come to you. You have to bring life to you. Introversion gets those no where. Grab life and make it your own. Probably an amazing experience!
I did the USAPCC and had never met anyone prior to learning the list of names and then reaching out to get to know them via email. People I hadn’t know went out of there way to meet me for rides and offer me transportation adn help. I did not in any way feel like an outsider, in fact the love of the bike and riding made everyone approachable and welcoming. I am truely friends with several of the participants and look forward to seeing them again when I travel to where ever they live. Invitations for the future were warmly estended adn we really expect to meet again.
Regarding the expense part, true it is very pricey but worth it. There might be a way to do a cheaper version, for example the VIP passes got old after one or two and I was just as happy to sit with my new friends and watch at the hotel or relax and look forward to my massage. If that added significantly to the cost, it could have been eliminated. I am a teacher so this was a significant expense for me (and yes the negotiations were intense and I owe her big time), but even my wife agrees after all was said and done that she was glad I had the opportunity to experience being a pro for a week. In fact she was sorry she didn’t follow us along. The next problem is having tasted the wine I want more – so I am now saving the pennies for the next adventure before I get too old.
I just re-read my post please forgive the typos. I know that it should be their and not there and known, not know. I hate when people don’t proof their own work – sorry. The sentiments are accurate if the English ain’t.
