Nina Beloni

As an athlete, I have raced in most of the different cycling disciplines, including road, gravel, mountain biking, and cyclocross. I was a professional road cyclist for a few years and spent a lot of time racing in gravel events before they were cool. My proudest win was a victory at The Mid South gravel in 2019, which I won 6 months after I took a year off the bike due to illness. The past four years, I have been pursuing my doctorate in sport and performance psychology because I am passionate about helping athletes with the mental side of sport performance in addition to physical training. I am also a licensed therapist, and I specialize working with athletes who are trying to navigate mental health difficulties that may be impacting their performance. In my free time, I love anything that gets me outside, including bike rides, walking and hiking with my dog Mango, and trail running. I also love to cook, garden, and learn new things.

I’ve been coaching for CTS since 2014, and in that time I have worked with hundreds of athletes of all different ages and ability levels in nearly all of the different cycling disciplines. I believe the best part about coaching is inspiring athletes to get the best out of themselves. When my athletes reach goals they never thought were possible, they end up inspiring me in return!
