Kellie Moylan
CTS Expert Level Coach
“Training preparation is both physical and mental. I believe the body is capable of almost anything if we train properly for it and prepare for it. Learning to stay positive through ongoing affirmations and visualization can be used in training along with the physical program. It takes teamwork to understand each athlete’s needs to help nurture both physical and mental preparation for their event. Being organized and confident in upcoming events are an essential part of training.”
Coach Bio:
I started racing mountain bikes in the early ’90s doing the Norba Series around the country. In the mix of racing mountain bikes and cyclo-cross, I did some running and triathlons as well. My love for both cycling and running was paralleled by strength training through the years. By 2001 I was working as a full-time coach in both cycling and strength training. When I was introduced to the sport of weightlifting, I fell in love with it. I went on to compete in weightlifting for 5 years under the guidance of a coach which led to qualifying for master’s worlds. Combining endurance sports and lifting has always intrigued me. Watching athletes gain strength and power on the bike or run along with being free from injury gives me confidence that the program is complete.
