I am a lifelong athlete with a love for sport, competition and training. I began racing bikes at the age of 10 and continued to race full time for 15 years, 6 of those at the professional level in Downhill mountain biking. My coaching career began in Durango, CO where I received my degree in Exercise Science while racing on the FLC cycling team. After receiving my degree I began my internship with Carmichael Training Systems where I’ve enjoyed helping people reach their goals as well as improve their physical and mental well-being for the past 9 years.
In addition to coaching, I am manager of new product development at SRM PowerMeters; the visionaries and world leaders in cycling power measurement that helped shape training and coaching into what we know it to be today. This has given me a unique perspective on product/training design to help continually push the evolution of training to improve physical fitness, efficiency and speed for athletes of all disciplines.
