I have been an endurance athlete for the past 15 years. After getting hooked on cross country in high school, I went on to run for a Division I distance program in college. Running naturally led me to cycling and after finishing my masters degree I hit the road, racing various two-wheeled disciplines for several years with much success. Racing and traveling transitioned into guiding and leading cycling training camps along the East Coast which has afforded me the privilege of working with a variety of athletes with a broad spectrum of individual abilities and goals. When I am not out on two wheels looking for the most epic climbs and routes, I am at home with my feet up reading the latest and greatest and tinkering around the bike garage.
To me, coaching is a personal relationship involving open communication, professionalism, and an integration of lifestyle, family and career considerations to produce the best competitive results with the most efficient use of time. Access and commitment are the most important elements of a coaching relationship and I seek to embody those every day. In addition to personal training plan development, data analysis and race strategies for endurance athletes of all disciplines and abilities I specialize in custom private training camps and services for individuals or groups of any size.
As a CTS coach, my specialty is working individually with endurance athletes of all levels to achieve their performance goals. No matter the experience or time available to train, it is my goal to have every athlete performing at the top of their ability and satisfied with their training and preparation. From criteriums and cyclocross races to Alpine Gran Fondos to trail runners and multi-sport athletes, I enjoy working to prepare any athlete to be at the top of their game when they need to be.« Back to all coaches
