Growing up near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, my passion for endurance sports began with spending my weekends hiking long hours on the Appalachian Trail. I fell in love with competitive running and rowing in high school, and I started riding bikes my senior year after dealing with injuries. I came to CTS following a successful collegiate cycling career at Appalachian State University, where I found my niche in coaching novice cyclists and sharing training ideas with the team. In my free time, I enjoy racing road and cyclocross bikes at the elite level, running and mountain biking with my dog, and doing epic rides with my boyfriend.
I provide specialized training plans for every type of endurance athlete. I plan awesome private individual and group camps, and perform bike fits, lab testing, and nutrition advice. I am an expert in helping athletes reach their goals, big or small—I’m up for the challenge!
With an educational background in Exercise Science and Psychology, I have a strong understanding of the physiological and mental demands of many different endurance sports. Although my competitive background is in running, rowing, and road cycling, I enjoy coaching all types of athletes—road, mountain, cyclocross, running, triathlon, rowing, etc. I enjoy strategizing race tactics and planning nutrition for training and racing.« Back to all coaches
