I have been a full-time professional coach with CTS for nearly 9 years. I have been training and competing in endurance events like the Ironman Triathlon, Leadville 100 MTB, 24 hour MTB events, and multi day stage races for much longer. I still currently compete in mountain bike, road, and cyclocross events. I really feel that I have found my calling and am lucky enough to have what I feel is my dream job. My coaching style is easy going and fun to work with while still making sure the job at hand gets done. When I am not coaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids who are all very active and enjoy the outdoors as much as I do.
Learning as much as I can about my athletes and helping them find a balance between training, family, career, and other obligations by building an appropriate and individualized training schedule specific to their situation is always the first order of business. In addition to my knowledge and experience with data analysis, training principles, and racing strategies to maximize physical performance potential, helping my athletes build mental fitness and stay motivated while keeping it all fun and enjoyable is also a big priority to me. I have achieved success working with a wide range of athletes including road cyclists, mountain bikers, triathletes, runners, adventure racers, and a variety of other endurance sport disciplines. I am available for private training camps and am regularly one of the coaches at various CTS training camps.
As a Senior Level CTS Coach, I specialize in personal coaching for mountain bikers, cyclists, and runners. I am available for private camps, bike fit, race-day support (as support crew or as a co-racer), and training camps to improve bike handling skills. I also have a great deal of experience working with time crunched executives.« Back to all coaches
