I fell in love with bikes and bike racing after my first mountain bike race in 1993. By 2001, I had moved to beautiful Asheville, NC, won my first national championship (Masters 35 + road race) and was coaching endurance athletes full time. Since then I have coached athletes to national championships on the road, TT, MTB and cyclocross as well as competed in hundreds of events myself on and off road all over North America. I thrive on working with athletes of all ability levels in all disciplines of cycling. I also enjoy doing epic events on a tandem with my wife. Over the last few years I have taken to ultra running and completed my first 100 mile trail run in under 24 hours.
