I started mountain biking around the age of 10 or 11. Growing up in Grand Junction, Colorado was the perfect location to be in the early 90s as the sport exploded and grew.
As I entered high school I also began my real introduction into endurance sports running cross country. It wasn’t until near the end of college that I began getting into racing. It started off as just mountain bike racing but now has included road, cyclocross, and gravel on a regular basis.
During my time in school, I took on an internship with Dr. Falsetti a prominent cardiologist who specialized in sport performance testing and diagnosing Epstein Barr, Chronic fatigue, etc. This led to my interest in working with athletes and eventually coaching.
