Learn Techniques and Strategies To Improve Your Ultrarunning Performance On Pristine Pisgah National Forest Trails

This ultrarunning camp is a great opportunity for any ultrarunner to get the season started on the right foot, put in a big block of training, and learn trail running tips and techniques from the best coaches in the business.

Not only will we get some amazing trail runs in, but we will cover important topics like nutrition, technique, development of a training plan, and the mental aspects of ultrarunning.  

Along the way you will experience the classic Art Loeb trail, wonderful roots and wet East Coast single track, and see the birth place of modern forestry at the Cradle to Grave event.

As an added bonus, we’ll be running the Cradle to the Grave 30K Event.

These cabins are just up the hill from CTS and are designed to seamlessly interact with the outdoors. Fully finished with a kitchen, bathroom, living area, washer/dryer, mudroom, covered deck, secure bike storage, bike wash station, and private parking, these cabins are your perfect home away from home in the mountains.

HAMPTON INN BREVARD

Experience the quiet of the woods at the Hampton Inn Brevard hotel near Pisgah National Forest and just down the street from our CTS Training Center.

Camp Itinerary

DAY 0

CHECK-IN DAY – 5/9/2019

Check-in Time: 3:00-5:00 PM

Where: CTS Brevard, 11 Mama’s Way Suite B, Pisgah Forest NC

Arrival: Arrive and get checked in with our running staff. Get any last second questions answered and head off to rest up for the next 3 days.

DAY 1

ENDURANCE RUN WITH TEMPO EFFORTS

Mileage: 15-20
Run Time: 3 – 4 Hours

Breakfast: On Your Own

DAY 2

CRADLE TO GRAVE EVENT

Mileage: 18

Run Time: 3+ Hours

Camp Conclusion: will be after the final run on Sunday May 12th. Enjoy a food truck meal and a well earned beer at The Hub next door!
