Ride Great Gravel Roads While Enjoying Beautiful Florida Weather This Winter

Trying to stay on top of your training during the winter season can get very tough with the brutal cold and probable snow outside. However, if you have big goals in the spring, the foundation for your fitness needs to be built during the wintertime. This long weekend of riding in the warm Florida weather is the perfect way to boost your early season fitness and motivate you to ramp up your training in the second half of winter. The camp will include 3 days of long and steady endurance miles with a focus on riding beautiful country gravel/dirt roads as much as possible.

All rides will start and finish in the City of Winter Garden, a beautiful small town just about 20 minutes west of Downtown Orlando. A highly sought-after residential area, Winter Garden is known for its quaint downtown with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The main drag through downtown, a brick street named Plant Street, is lined with local shops and restaurants, including one of Central Florida best bike shops. Additionally, a phenomenal bike trail runs right through the center of downtown. Specifically, the rides will begin and end at Plant Street Market, a large shared market that is home to multiple local food/drink vendors including one of the areas most popular breweries, Crooked Can Brewing. Plant Street Market provides the perfect setting for gathering after the rides to re-fuel and talk all things riding and training.
