Carmichael Training Systems has been visiting the Santa Ynez Valley for training camps since 2000, and now we're very pleased to announce the Grand Opening of our newest regional training center in Santa Ynez. To celebrate, we're inviting endurance athletes throughout the region and througout the country to join us for our Grand Opening Event:

When: July 23, 2011 – 9AM to 3PM

Special Events:

  • Ride with Chris Carmichael – 9:30-11:30AM
  • Prize drawings for valuable products and services – Hourly
  • Grand Prize Drawing – Lance Armstrong signed jersey – 2:30PM

  • Trek Demo Day: Try out Trek bikes, presented by MainStreet Cycles – All Day
  • Endurance Sports Expo: Check out new products from a variety of top companies – All Day
  • Facility Tours and demonstrations – All Day
 
The CTS Santa Ynez training facility is the most technically advanced performance center in the region, including a world-class physiological testing lab and a 3D Dynamic Bike Fit lab utilizing Retul technology. But anyone can buy a bunch of equipment; what makes CTS Santa Ynez special is our full-time coaching staff. Come in and meet our coaches on July 23 and you'll see why CTS Santa Ynez is your best option for training, testing, and camps.
 
GRAND OPENING, EXPO & TREK DEMO DAY EVENT ITINERARY
Our new training facility will be open from 9:00am – 3:00pm for tours led by our top coaches, and there will be hourly raffle drawings for valuable products and services. Come enjoy some lunch with us from 11:30 – 2:00, and enjoy an endurance sports expo, including the opportunity to demo a wide range of Trek bikes!
 
And be sure to join CTS Founder, CEO, and Head Coach Chris Carmichael for a road ride from 9:30-11:00AM!!

• 9:30 – 11:00 – Ride with Chris Carmichael, fully supported by CTS
• 11:00 – 12:00 – Lactate Threshold Test  Demonstration
• 12:00 – 2:00 – 3D Bike Fit Demonstration
• 1:00 – 2:00 – Tour de France viewing/discussion with Chris Carmichael
• 2:00-3:00 – Book Signing with Chris Carmichael
• 2:30 – Raffle for Lance Armstrong autographed jersey

DIRECTIONS:

From the South (LA area)
Take US-101 north to Santa Barbara; Exit on CA-154 (Lake Cachuma) and continue 24 miles over San Marco pass; Turn left on CA-246 (Mission Drive) for 1 mile; Turn right on Meadowvale; Turn left on Sagunto (park around back of our building: 3640 Sagunto St)

From the North (SF Bay area)
Take US-101 south; Continue for 20 miles past Santa Maria; Exit on CA-154 (Los Olivos, Lake Cachuma) and continue 8 miles; Turn right on CA-246 (Mission Drive) for 1 mile; Right on Meadowvale; Left on Sagunto (park around back of our building: 3640 Sagunto St) lot.
