Epic Endurance Prep Camp – Santa Ynez, CA

April 3-6, 2013

If you’ve signed up for an epic cycling event in 2013, you better show up prepared. This training camp is designed to stretch your limits; it’s a three day road cycling training block that will push your fitness to a new level.  Whether you’re targeting a multi-day CTS Bucket List event like the Amgen Tour of California Race Experience or a 1-day challenge like the Dirty Kanza 200, this camp is your opportunity to put the necessary miles in your legs. And even if you’re not doing a CTS Bucket List Event, this is a great training experience for anyone preparing for a major cycling challenge!

You can’t hide poor fitness on multi-day rides or even huge 1-day events.  And poor group riding skills and bike handling will compound any weaknesses.  Improve your fitness and your skills with 3 long days of riding under the guidance of CTS coaches.  The beautiful and challenging roads of the Santa Ynez Valley will test the fitness of any cyclist.  And our professional coaches provide feedback and instruction to improve skills and hone performance.  Fully supported rides, professional mechanics and daily power file analysis complete the experience at our first ever Epic Endurance Training Camp.

Wonder if you’re qualified for a CTS Bucket List Event? The best way to earn your spot on one of our teams is to spend time working with our coaches.  This three-and-a half day camp welcomes intermediate to advanced riders looking for long training days and professional instruction.  Due to the demanding nature of the routes, we highly recommend that your bicycle be equipped with a 12-28 cassette, and/or a compact crankset.

The weather during this time of year can vary from 50-80 degrees.   Be sure to come prepared for all weather conditions.
