Climbing Camp

2009 Header

June 6-9, 2012

Nearly every cyclist we work with wants to improve his or her ability to ride uphill, and three-and-a-half day camp is just what you need. Held along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, in the shadow of Pikes Peak, this camp will teach you key techniques that help riders of all sizes and shapes excel when the road tips toward the sky. Since what goes up must come down, we'll also help you develop the confidence and skills you need to descend quickly, safely, and efficiently. Camps include a CTS Field Test and subsequent review of test data with the coaching staff. The coaching staff will determine your most efficient climbing pace so you can reach your climbing goals.

Our three-and-a half day Climbing Camps welcome riders of ALL LEVELS, from the beginner cyclist to the advanced rider. We highly recommend that your bicycle be equipped with a 12-27 cassette, and/or a compact crankset, for this camp.

The weather during this time of year can vary from 50-85 degrees, and rain showers can sometimes pass through at higher elevations. Be sure to come prepared for all weather conditions.
