CTS Athletes after La Ruta Stage 1

Stage 1 of the 2010 La Ruta de los Conquistadores is in the books and it was hard day but overall a good one. Defending champion Manny Prado reported via Twitter, “Very hard day, felt terrible for the first 60km then made some time back on the last 50. Hoping for better legs tomorrow.” He finished in 9th place on the day, but he knows there’s plenty of racing left and anything can happen. As for the rest of the CTS Coaches and Athletes, they’re results are posted below:

Manny Prado: 9th in 6:19

Jason Tullous: 17th in 7:15

Jim Lehman: 21st in 7:37 (first place Men 40-49)

Pavel Popliolek: 25th in 7:51 (second place in Men 40-49)

Adam Pulford: 29th in 8:06

Ben Morris: 60th in 9:07

Jane Rynbrandt: 66th in 9:14 (via Twitter she reported being 5th in her category)

Van Council: 71st in 9:25 (second place Men 50+)

John Millon: 75th in 9:27

Chris Carmichael: 82nd in 9:38 (third place Men 50+)

John Sagebiel: 83rd in 9:41

Francois Millard: 84th in 9:41

Mark Rago: 108th in 10:30

Rick D’Amico: 113th in 10:40

April Herring: She finished but we haven’t seen her finishing time yet.

    Don’t forget Dave Burke – came in at 9:54, exhausted but exhilarated & ready for more.
