Does coaching myself to the UCI Elite level in cross country mountain biking count?

I grew up competing in long distance off-road motorcycle races. Training for those events and rehabbing injuries led me to bicycle racing and there was no turning back.

I've raced XC all over the U.S. so I think my experience and knowledge of different venues and different terrain has a lot to offer the athletes that I coach.
