I decided to not wear sock with a brand new pair of shoes at the UCR cross country invitation. 8k of dirt and gravel destroyed my feet, but I was too stubborn to drop out. I ran one of the worst times of my running career and finished the race with blood soaked shoes. I then spent the next week and a half of off running while my feet healed up. |
