That point in time when you have to make a decision. Do I give up and end the suffering, or do I keep pushing myself and see how far I can go? |
||
The Red River Gorge Stage Race, I entered the season without being able to train as much as I had in the past and was about 10 kg over race weight. I rode the last 35 miles of the road race off the back in the rain after failing to chase on after one of the climbs. I realized at that moment that if you want to be able to compete you have to make it a priority in your life. I hadn't made training a priority and I suffered greatly because of it. |

I like to spent time with my Girlfriend and our wonderful dog. |

I was a power lifter and football player in high school and used to tip the scales at about 245 lbs (to put it in prespective I am 6'4). After entering college I got into endurance athletics (swimming, biking, and running) and dropped down to my current weight of 175lbs before the end of my freshman year in college. |
