Profile:
Kathy's coaching experience began over fifteen years ago and encompasses all levels of cyclists, including juniors, masters and Olympic athletes. Her expertise in sports science brought her to Colorado Springs to work with the Sports Science team at the US Olympic Training Center. There she worked with USA Cycling and USA Triathlon to develop Olympic athletes. In addition to coaching individual cyclists and triathletes, her coaching experience covers regional, national and international team competitions, including Head Cycling Coach for 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney. In 2003 Kathy served as one of our coaches for the Tour of Hope.
Kathy is a licensed USA Cycling Elite level coach and Sports Nutritionist. She holds a masters degree in Exercise Science and is a certified Health and Fitness Instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine. She resides in Littleton, CO where she competes as a Masters racer and recently became the Colorado State Time Trial Champion for SW 35+.
