Bryan brings a plethora of knowledge to CTS from his education and experience. Bryan graduated with a Ph.D. in exercise physiology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1999. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, studying the interaction of exercise and nutrition on weight loss, obesity, and diabetes. He started road and cyclocross racing at age 14, and has been racing for 12 years with a break from racing during his graduate studies. He is also an avid mountaineer, as well as rock and ice climber. Bryan is based in Boulder, CO and currently races on the road and dirt in both MTB and cross events. This year, he is focusing on ultra endurance mountain bike racing, competing in the solo category for 24 hour mountain bike races.
