Ever since I can remember, I have been in love with sports and science. At the age of 15, I began cycling and studying chemistry. By the time I was 21, I had four years of collegiate track and field competition under my belt, two years of collegiate soccer, and a B.A. in Biochemistry. Although I enjoyed track and field, cycling /endurance sports was my true passion. I began climbing up the rankings quickly enough to be noticed by multiple teams. The success I have had in the sport of cycling came by no other means than hard work, focus, and support of my wife and family. One of the greatest passions I have is being able to work with athletes, recognize their goals, and watch them succeed.
Earning my Master’s Degree in Exercise Science prepared me to apply my biochemistry background to training. My aim is to provide the best of coaching through Carmichael Training Systems for your success in your area of sport.
As a full time coach, I provide detailed and hand-built training plans, analysis of training, personalized communication with feedback, and full support of your season goals. As a coach, I love the data but I care about my athletes and their well-being more. Many athletes don’t have the luxury of training full-time. Knowing this, part of my service is to balance your training time with all the other obligations you face everyday.
I am a CTS coach that specializes in personal coaching, training camps, race-day support, weight management, development of resistance training programs, Lactate Threshold/VO2 Max testing, and Bike Fit. The ability to relate to athletes of any age and background is a gift of mine that can make the positive difference of motivating them to reach their lifelong goals.« Back to all coaches
