I have been coaching for 8 years, and have been competing in a multitude of endurance sports for most of my life. I have a BS in Exercise Science from Mercyhurst University, where I also competed on their men’s lightweight rowing team winning 3 national championships. Along with coaching and competitively rowing throughout college I also managed to set a couple endurance rowing world records. I am the lead author for studies conducted by Mercyhurst University on the disparity between aerobic specificity between two separate rowing ergometers. I thoroughly enjoy the mountains and try to make time to get on the trails as much as possible. Currently my focus is on growing my own fitness to compete in endurance events like the American Birkebeiner, Leadville 100 Mountain bike race, Head of The Charles Regatta, and a multitude of different marathons I have on my “to do” list. I am happiest when I am in the woods or when getting dirty with some good old fashion manual labor.
Specialized training plans, communication through multitude of applications including, email, Skype, and phone. Rowing, cycling, and running video analysis, power file interpretation, and hands on skill development. Retul bike fitting, physiological LT/VO2max testing and interpretation, private camps planning & execution, and team training camps. Using these factors I provide coaching that compliments your life, and most effectively get you to your end goal.
