Power Training Class

Camp Header

Carmichael Training Systems' popular Power Training Classes have been going strong for more than 6 years, and we continue to offer these classes at The Endurance Sports Club facility in Colorado Springs. During 8-weeks of high-voltage indoor training classes, athletes see a clear improvement in their sustainable power output and learn to train with power.

How do we know these classes work? A 2007 study by Klika et al., (J Strength Cond Res. 2007 Feb;21(1):265-9) showed that, on average, class participants experienced a 13% increase in power output over eight weeks. These one-hour classes are a great way to add some structure to your training without having to add a lot of training time.

Class Requirements: Bring your own bike to the class and our staff will help you mount it on one of 24 Computrainers in our facility. Once you feel comfortable mounting your own bike on the Computrainer, you are welcome to do so.

Classes are held twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:00 to 7:00pm at The Endurance Sports Club at Carmichael Training System, located at 600 South 21st Street, Colorado Springs, 80904.
