Cyclists have been drawn to the Santa Ynez Valley in California's Central Coast for decades, and CTS has been running training camps in these mountains and valleys for more than 15 years. In this weekend camp you'll learn techniques and skills to be a faster climber. We'll teach you how to train with power (if you don't have a power meter we'll install a PowerTap on your bike) and walk you through workouts you can do when you go home. Hors Categorie is French for 'beyond category' and is reserved for the toughest climbs in cycling. This camp is your opportunity to tackle some of the most iconic routes and summits in the Colorado's Rocky Mountains.
In our 2016 camp we will tackle some of the most challenging and beautiful rides on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, and you will have the chance to test yourself on the two-highest paved roads in the country. Both Pikes Peak and Mount Evans top out over 14,000 feet of lung searing elevation. We’ll also cover classic rides through Foxton Canyon, Deckers and the historic Gold Belt Byway. Each day will include 4-6 hours of riding with 7,000-10,000 ft vertical gain.
Hors catégorie is a French term used to designate a climb that is “beyond categorization”, and we’ve used this term to name our most challenging climbing camps. This camp is designed for the avid cyclist who is looking to test themselves on some of the toughest climbs in the Brevard area. The 2016 CTS Brevard Hincapie Fondo Recon Camp is designed to allow riders to preview the entire 80 Miles of the Gran Fondo. We will break the event into 2 days of riding to allow for riders to see the route at a pace that will not over tax them for the event on Saturday completely. Additionally, for stronger riders we will offer extra miles after the initial recon is completed for the day if desired.More information
Four days of long, flat miles in some of the best weather Florida has to offer! This is a reflective time for many riders, so we encourage athletes to bring the training they did last season or what to aspire to for next season as a talking point with the coaches. This edition to our El Tour camp will include the three big climbs surrounding Tucson: Madera Canyon, Kitt Peak, and Mt. Lemmon.
