Cycling Camp – Climbing 101 in Colorado Springs

Climbing 101 camps are perfect for cyclists looking to improve climbing and descending performance, and also looking to learn essential road cycling skills like riding close to other cyclists, basic drafting, eating and drinking on the move, etc. This is a great camp for riders who find climbing, descending, and/or riding in a group intimidating.

Spend a weekend learning to be a better climber in the clean mountain air of Colorado Springs, CO! If you have a summer event at altitude, this camp is also a great opportunity to experience how your body responds to exercising at 6000-8000 feet above sea level.

This camp is designed for beginner and intermediate road cyclists who want to get better at riding, learn about training, and those who simply get in a good 3-day training block. Each day will include 3-4 hours of riding, and we’ll complement the work we do on the bike with coach-led training presentations on sports nutrition, training with power, and other topics. You will also sit down individually with a coach for one-on-one power file data analysis after every ride. All camp rides feature full mechanic and nutrition support and a high coach-athlete ratio.

Memorial Day High-Altitude Ultrarunning Camp May 2017

Join CTS Premier Coach Jason Koop and John Fitzgerald in Colorado Springs, CO for a high mileage, big vertical trail running camp that you will not forget. Colorado Springs makes an ideal location for high altitude running year round with ideal terrain, weather, and location. This camp is a great opportunity for any trail runner to get the season started on the right foot, put in a big block of training and learn tips and techniques from the best coaches in the business. The last day of the camp will be a challenging ~50k run through the beautiful trails in the shadows of the Pikes Peak.

Cyclists have been drawn to the Santa Ynez Valley in California's Central Coast for decades, and CTS has been running training camps in these mountains and valleys for more than 15 years.

Summer in Breckenridge is heaven for mountain bikers. The Breckenridge Epic Mountain Bike Camp will be more than a series of coach-led trail rides. The Copper Triangle has been an iconic one-day event in Colorado for years, this year we are teaming up with the Davis Phinney Foundation to create a great road cycling camp finishing with the Copper Triangle.
