With the help of our professional coaches, you will learn new MTB skills and develop techniques, whether you’re newer to mountain biking or a seasoned rider, to turn the dial all the way to EPIC! There are two things we always see at this camp; amazing memories on the bike, and that before you leave, you’ll be planning on how to get back.

Whether you are looking for an intensive training block to prepare for your key event of the season, or just a want an epic mountain biking trip to explore some of the best trails in the Colorado Rockies, we have got the camp for you! Our mountain bike camp is 3 days of long MTB rides covering some of the best single track in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Camp Itinerary

DAY 1

CHECK-IN DAY

Check-in Time: 4:00-5:00 PM

Where: Breck Bike Guides 114 Lincoln Ave, Breckenridge, CO 80424

Arrival: Once you arrive in beautiful Breckenridge, we’ll introduce you to your coaches for the camp and then we’ll all head into town for a great team dinner.

Training Presentation @ 6:00PM (Hydration and Nutrition for Epic Events)

Dinner: MI CASA @ 6:30-7:30PM

DAY 2

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND RIDING HILLS

Mileage: 15-35
Elevation Gain: 2000-3500 FT
Ride Time: 3-4.5 Hours

Description: Our ride will feature sections of the Breck100 and Firecracker 50 racecourses. One of the focuses for the day will be skills and descending, so we’ll be doing a skills session during the ride, as well as riding sessions or different sections of the trails we ride.

DAY 3

HIGH ALTITUDE MTB RIDING AND TRAINING

Mileage: 20-35
Elevation Gain: 2000-3500 FT
Ride Time: 3 – 4.5 Hours

Description: Building upon the lessons we learned on the first day of camp, we will build a system for listening to your body. With the goal of helping you avoid the common and major failures we see at “Epic” events.

Training Presentation @  1:00 PM (MTB Training With a Power Meter)

Breakfast: ON YOUR OWN @ 6:00-8:00AM
Lunch: BRECK BIKE GUIDES CYCLING LAB @ 12:30-1:30PM
Dinner: TWIST @ 6:30-7:30PM


DAY 4

GO BIG, BEFORE YOU GO HOME

Mileage: 20-50
Elevation Gain: 2000 – 6000 FT
Ride Time: 3 – 5 Hours

Description: Perfect practice makes for a perfect race day. Our professional Coaches will be on the trails helping you achieve that “perfect day.” Assisting on everything from hydration and nutrition, to technical skills and pacing, our coaches will help you put it all together so that you will leave Breck feeling ready for your next Epic Ride.

Lunch: BRECK BIKE GUIDES CYCLING LAB @ 12:30-1:30PM
Dinner: ON YOUR OWN @ 6:30-7:30PM

Camp Conclusion:

After riding as many of the amazing trails as we can, we will return to Breck Bike Guides happily exhausted. Following the ride, we’ll swap stories over a final lunch while the expert CTS Coaches review any data files and answer any questions.

The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the camp and will be billed automatically. The credit card information used for your deposit will be billed unless otherwise arranged with the CTS accounting department.

Airports:

Colorado Springs Airport (COS) is about 2.5 hours from Breckenridge.

Denver International Airport (DEN) is an approximately 2 hours from Breckenridge.
