Since 2000, Carmichael Training Systems has been the premier destination for coaching, training camps, and performance testing. Founded by Olympian and 1999 US Olympic Committee Coach of the Year, Chris Carmichael, CTS delivers world-class personal coaching services to athletes of all abilities, across the complete spectrum of endurance sports. One of the oldest organizations in the endurance coaching industry, Carmichael Training Systems pioneered the concept of distance-coaching, using the internet as a communication tool to exchange data files, handcrafted training schedules, and personal feedback between athletes and coaches living thousands of miles apart.
Over the past 10 years, CTS has grown to include athletic training facilities in Colorado Springs, CO; Asheville, NC; and Tucson, AZ. More than 50 coaches, each NGB certified and educated in our in-house Carmichael Coaching College, provide coaching and hands-on camp services to thousands of CTS Athletes all over the world. Chris Carmichael Bio
Chris Carmichael is the founder and CEO of Carmichael Training Systems, Inc. (CTS). A US Olympian in 1984 and member of the 7-Eleven Pro Cycling team, Chris was named the US Olympic Committee’s Coach of the Year in 1999, and he formed CTS in 2000 to make world-class coaching accessible to athletes of all ability levels.
